I'm Jen, and I'm a writer, editor and social media consultant. I'm inspired by words and how each and every one we choose has a meaning, has a purpose. My love for writing and editing blossomed in elementary school when I helped found our school newspaper, the Bobcat Press. One of my first pieces was an investigative look at the school lunches, and it included a harsh criticism of the state of the side salad. In my older age, some things have stayed the same: I still love writing and editing, and I still won't stand for wilted lettuce.

For two years, I worked as contributing editor of Harrisburg Magazine and Lehigh Valley Magazine, where I also wrote about everything from style and music to medical marijuana legislation in Pennsylvania and alternative education. My work has also been published in Local: A Quarterly of People and Places and Philadelphia Weekly and online at Today's the Day Harrisburg and FoxJuice.

I manage social media for Studio '91 and have also worked with The Millworks and the Broad Street Market in that capacity.

I also co-owned and co-operated Stash Collective, a vintage and gift boutique, for three years, where I handled the communication and social media needs.

My daughter Audrey and I live in Harrisburg, Pa. She's a constant source of inspiration. And clutter. But mainly that inspiration thing.
